Write to the End meets almost weekly on Tuesday nights to write, share (i.e. read) what we’ve written, and chat about writing (and anything else, except computers or Star Wars or anything that leads to too-long tangents too often). We meet to encourage ourselves to keep writing and creating.
We’re an open group, and we love it when new people join us. We’re hoping for a few more poets to show up, as we’re currently heavily prose oriented (fiction and non-fiction). We’re not a critique group, but if you come to enough meetings, you will probably get to know other writers who will be willing to critique your manuscript outside the group.
We’re a group of active writers, some professionally published, some working towards publishing, and some writing simply for personal fulfillment.
Current Meeting Place
The staff has been very supportive of our group, and we want to support them, too. Please buy something, even if it’s just a drink. IHOP has an extensive menu, including at least 11 varieties of pancakes.
Please join us at our next meeting! We meet every Tuesday except the first Tuesday of the month. All meetings start at 7:00 p.m. at IHOP, so you’ll want to arrive a bit early to order and get settled. It is okay to come late or leave early if you need to. We usually leave the restaurant at about 10:00 p.m.
Members write in all different forms and genres, so come to share and learn! Please bring pen and paper or whatever you use to write.
